16 mobiles including an iPhone have been recovered from Ferozepur Central Jail. Apart from this, 65 bundles of beedis and 26 packets of tobacco were also found. In this case, the jail administration has registered a case with the police after recovering a total of 5 prisoners including 2 prisoners and 3 convicts.
After which preparations are being made to bring the accused on production warrant and interrogate how all these goods reached inside the jail. Jail Superintendent Nirmaljit Singh said that he had received secret information that some prisoners were using mobile phones inside.
When the team checked, 12 mobile phones were recovered from near the furnaces outside the old barrack number 8. A gold colored iPhone was also recovered from them. However, there was no SIM inside it.
