11 crore scam in Bala Ji Dham located in Mehdipur, Rajasthan is being linked to Punjab. While investigating the matter, CBI conducted a raid in Jaito village of Faridkot today. The team raided the houses of 5 suspects in the case for 5 hours and seized the records. Also took bank details.

Advocate Jaswant Singh Jas said that around 13 crore rupees worth of coins were deposited by Balaji Trust in the SBI branch located in Mehdipur. When the bank’s new manager took over five years ago, he saw fewer coins, after which a tender was awarded to a private company to count the coins.

After counting the coins, the company found that instead of Rs 13 crore coins, there were only Rs 1 crore 65 lakh coins. Based on the said report, the bank went to the court for investigation with the help of the police, after which the Jaipur High Court bench handed over the investigation of the matter to the CBI.

According to sources, the CBI suspects that at that time the money of this scam was invested in the IPL and the share market, the transactions of which took place during that time in the bank accounts of 5 people of Jaito town in Faridkot district. During this investigation, the CBI team reached Faridkot last evening, although the CBI team did not share any information with the media in this case.
