108 ambulance service may be closed in Punjab

punjab Ambulance Service: 108 ambulance staff are preparing to go on strike again due to not getting increased salary even after 7 months of the assurance given by the Health Minister Punjab. Ambulance workers staged a sit-in at the Ladoval Toll Plaza during the month of January for salary hike and other demands. After which the then health minister assured to accept the demands of the employees and to take action against the company including an increase of Rs 5000 in salary.

But the government and the company have not provided any kind of facility to the employees till now.
