The state government led by Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann is continuously providing employment to the youth of the state and the electricity department will soon issue appointment letters to the eligible youth on 2424 vacant posts.
Giving this information, Punjab Power Minister Harbhajan Singh E. T. oh Told that P. S. P. C. L. Recruitment process against various 2424 posts in Group A, B and C has been completed and eligible candidates will be provided government jobs. He said that government jobs have been provided to 1397 youths in the electricity department during the last one year.
The Cabinet Minister gave details about the new 2424 posts and said that in them 02 Assistant Manager (IT, Group A), 36 Junior Engineer (Group B) and 2386 Assistant Lineman, L. D. C., Clerk (Group B) etc., which appointment letters will be issued soon.

The Minister of Electricity, giving information about the government jobs provided during the last year, said that so far 26 Assistant Engineers (Electrical), 05 Assistant Managers (IT), 85 Junior Engineers (Electrical), 59 Junior Engineers (Sub-station) , 14 Junior Engineer (Civil), 294 ASSA, 08 Electricity (Grade-II), 08 Assistant Lineman, 03 Superintendent (Divisional Accounts), 25 Revenue Accountant, 677 LDC/Clerk , 60 Servants/Chowkidar (Compassionate Basis) 38 LDCs. (on compassionate basis) and 95 RTM. etc. have been recruited.
Harbhajan Singh ETO He further said that government jobs have been provided to around 27 thousand eligible youths of the state during the last one year. He said that these jobs are provided on the basis of ability and pure merit.
