Bureau report : In Abohar city, the police have recovered the body of a youth missing for 3 days. The dead body was recovered from Mulakpur distributor near Hanumangarh bypass. The police, with the help of Nar Seva Narayan Seva and Sevadars, removed the body from the canal and kept it in the mortuary of the government hospital. Whether the youth committed suicide or it was an accident, it is being investigated from both sides.

According to the information received, the deceased has been identified as Sunil Kumar of South Avenue street number 12, who worked in a medical agency. On Tuesday afternoon, he went out on his bike (PB15W-9104) to have lunch after telling the owner of the agency, but he neither reached home nor came back to the agency, the police received a complaint about him missing.

During the investigation, the police found Sunil’s bike parked on the bank of the canal passing by Kala Tibba village on Thursday. After this, the family and the police started searching for him in the canal. Late in the evening, his body was found near the canal, after which the police was informed.
City police station in-charge Sanjeev Tarmala reached the spot with the police party. The family was called and the body was identified, after which a case has been registered and investigation has been started.
