Why has Bhagat Singh left the Gurdwara today? Punjabi Akhbaar

When the hero is kidnapped….

(During the farmers' struggle, the issue of “comrades vs. Sikhs” was a topic of discussion. Both sides continued to favor farmers more than the other. My personal opinion is that it is not right to see people's interests tied to any one faction. . Sharing thoughts born out of such thoughts. Meaningful comments are welcome.—Author)

At different times, various great personalities have made efforts in their own way to guide the society. These personalities have been ruling people's hearts because they felt people's pain, expressed it, and adopted all possible ways to remove it. They suffered oppression in their village, and succeeded in bringing change to some extent. Even though they suffered and suffered from the governments and oppressive forces of the time, they were also sacrificed, but these great people made their special place in the people's mind. . The public began to consider them as their guide, leader, hero and began to understand their welfare in following the path indicated by them. These seeds of revolution planted in the minds of the people did not scare the governments of the time, nor the forces which This change reflects the establishment of These forces and governments are consciously trying to remove these heroes from the minds of the people. As long as these heroes live, they suffer the oppression of the establishment forces. Many times they also sacrifice themselves. Their martyrdom makes their grip on the people's minds stronger.

This seed of revolution growing in the people's mentality does not help the established regime in any way. It is no longer easy to fight directly or oppose these heroes. Then this greedy Nizam attacks indirectly to save the chiefdom from his loot. The Nizam is well aware of this fact that it is not so easy to remove the hero who resides in the minds of the people. That is why the establishment powers and indeed the opposition seem to honor these heroes openly. Events are held in their memory, their days are celebrated, tributes are paid, books are written and many other things are done, which is really nothing more than 'dramabaji'. Full care is taken to limit only bookish things, nothing practical. This illusion remained in the minds of the people that that hero is being talked about and everyone is respecting him. Walking on the path mentioned by these heroes is far from being allowed, even walking is not allowed.

There is no doubt that our public is also responsible to some extent in forgetting the path of these heroes knowingly or unknowingly. They come to be more fanatical, come to devotion, fall victim to a certain factionalism and break the other half of the people in an attempt to slap that hero. There is no doubt that some false propaganda is also done under conspiracy. By writing a lot of truth and falsehood about the behavior and life of that particular personality, the Nizam is constantly trying to change the public's perception and sometimes it succeeds a little, sometimes a little, sometimes a lot.

Let's try to make it clear with some examples. Let's start with Shaheed Bhagat Singh. It has been hijacked from three sides – firstly by the government Nizam, who set up all the machinery to call him the 'adversary and enemy of the British' and made him a “patriot” who loved the country of India. Rolled his 'anti-people-interest-ideology' in events, tributes, centenaries, etc. Second, even the staunch supporters and propagandists of his ideology, Comrade Veeran, did not reduce it. By joining a faction, his anti-religion was made the main topic of propaganda. Today's youth knows about his “why I am an atheist” knowledge from reading Lenin's biography, but what change he talked about and how it fits in today's context, do not know. . The third fault is also of our Sikh heroes, which may be as a result of the propaganda of the other party (comrades), but it will not be wrong to say that those who love Sikhism today have gone away from Bhagat Singh due to his atheism. {I fully remember, my childhood – when Dhadi Bhagat Singh, Udham Singh used to sing in the gurdwara of my village. Today why Bhagat Singh has left the Gurdwara because the propaganda of him being an atheist (true or false) has become more than necessary.} The government side can understand, but when will the other parties self-analyze? Because now Bhagat Singh is a representative of a particular faction, not of the people's mind.

Let's move on – let's talk about Guru Nanak. The leader of humanity, the one who understands all the four races, the one who hugs the poor and the downtrodden, the one who tells the truth to the rulers, tyrants, hypocrites, religious and political leaders, has become the leader of a party today. The soles of Nanak's feet, who walked far in different countries, did not inspire him to walk. We do not see Kirti Bhai Lalo, but we have started worshiping him by installing big langar, building big gurdwaras, offering gold, wrapping the message of his universal song in handkerchiefs. Here too, the abductor has struck very finely and subtly. The robbery that Baba had prohibited, has directly started again in the name of the same robbery. The religious priests, Karma Kandi, the capitalist class and the guardian government of these classes had to do all this – their selfishness and needs had to reject the Nanak ideology. But even the Sikhs who became his followers have kept Guru Nanak only as an object of worship. Why is he not the Guru of Hindus and the Pir of Muslims today? Shatar Hakam will celebrate Nanak's day, make a holiday, organize events – do everything else, but if a Nanak-named Lewa calls the Hakam a tyrant, he will not be able to bear it. If you start speaking against the current practices, many clauses can be imposed. Nanak has been completely abandoned and the Nanak that people have today is not against any saint-babe, he is not against any Babar or Malak Bhago. Chanting the name holding the rosary, this Nanak is not a threat to anyone. Kirti has gone away from people's minds, O Nanak.

Fearing the length of the article, I will neither give more examples nor explain much, but I would definitely like to say that Guru Gobind Singh Ji, Dr. Ambedkar, Sant Jarnail Singh Bhindran Wale, and so on. He ruled the hearts of people not only in his time but also later for a long time. But the evil governments, the opposition parties with deliberate tactics and their own people in more devotion, in fanaticism, or by joining one of the parties, destroyed their great revolutionary thinking. Today, his name is taken, but the matter of following his mentioned path has gone too far. Some maya, some selfishness, some kursi, some Chaudhar have created such an environment that we are stuck in our self-created circle and we do not think it is good to even think about getting out of that self-created circle.

When will the time come when we will not let our heroes go from our hearts, from our thoughts and we will be able to recognize the dramas of the Lotu forces. There is some hope from scholars, thinkers, writers if they can rise above the dignity and not become slaves of factionalism. Only and only can write the truth………….
