The first incident occurred in the Sunelta community in the Southwest area of โ€‹โ€‹Calgary where shots were fired in a back alley in the 1200 block of 17th Street. As soon as the police and rescue team reached the spot, one person was injured due to bullet injuries. He could not be saved despite the efforts made under the rescue operations. The identity of the deceased has not yet been released but the identity of the attacker is still unknown. Similarly, in Calgary’s Punjabi-populated North East area, shots have been fired near Castleridge Boulevard and Westwinds Drive. Two drivers got into an altercation on the road and one of them opened fire and injured the other. The injured person reached the nearby gas station himself and called the police on the spot. The condition of the injured person is out of danger, but the police have asked to wait for more information in this regard.
