Warrants have been issued against three other accused in the case of taking bribe of 20 lakhs in the name of IG. The vigilance has already arrested the accused DSP Sushil Kumar in this case. After that, the court has now issued warrants for the arrest of the accused AAI Khem Chand Parashar, Jassi Thekedar and Malkit Das, after which they may be arrested soon. Apart from this, the vigilance can also arrest the accused SP Gagnesh Kumar Sharma soon.
It may be mentioned that on November 8, 2019, Baba Gagan Das, the complainant in the murder case of Dera Baba Harka Das, head of Dera Baba Harka Das in village Kotsukhia, Baba Gagan Das, filed a case with the Vigilance that the main accused in the said case, Sant Jarnail Das, had applied to the police officers.
In the investigation, he was declared innocent, but Baba Gagan Das filed a petition in the Faridkot court regarding this, after which the court issued summons to Jarnail Singh, and summoned the IG Farigkot, after which the IG Faridkot constituted a bench for the re-investigation of the said matter.
