Major operation of CIA-2 in Bathinda, smuggler arrested with drug pills

Bathinda CIA-2 team has arrested a trafficker selling banned drugs. The team has recovered 80 thousand drug pills from the accused. The accused has been identified as Sunil Kumar, a resident of Thaska, Hisar district, Haryana, against whom a case has been registered at Cantt police station.

CIA Staff-2 in-charge SI Karandeep Singh said that he had received a tip-off that a large quantity of banned drugs was stored in a house located in street number 13 of Guru Teg Bahadur Nagar in the city. Based on the information, when the police team reached the street, a person standing outside the house got scared seeing the police team and started trying to run away from there.

When the police team arrested the accused on the spot and searched the bag hanging around his neck and a box in the car, a large quantity of banned medicine pills were recovered from him, the number of which is 80 thousand. The police have registered a case under the NDPS Act against the accused Sunil Kumar in the Cantt police station.
