The Cabinet Minister handed over the appointment letter to Fisherman
Handing over the appointment letter to the beneficiary, Khuddia said that although the loss of his departure can never be completed, but this appointment will help in reducing the sufferings of the family. The Cabinet Minister urged the newly appointed Fishermen to perform their duties with utmost integrity.
The cabinet minister said that under the mission of the Punjab government led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann to provide maximum employment opportunities to the youth of the state, all the vacant posts are being filled to increase the efficiency of the department. He said that appointment letters have already been given to two fisheries officers and 9 clerks on direct quota vacancies in the department. Apart from this, two fishermen have been given jobs on compassionate grounds.
On this occasion Director Fisheries Mr. Jasvir Singh, Director Animal Husbandry Dr. Sangeeta Toor and other officials of the department were also present.
