The Punjab Police has achieved great success while taking action against drugs. The Amritsar Counter Intelligence (CI) has succeeded in arresting a big smuggler supplying heroin from Pakistan through wires to India. At present, action has been initiated against the accused by registering a case in SSOC Amritsar.

DGP Gaurav Yadav informed that CI Amritsar has taken action against cross border drug smuggling network. CI has arrested smuggler Rachpal Singh alias Pala on the basis of information. From which CI has recovered 5 kg of heroin and drug money of Rs 12.15 lakh.
Smuggler Rachpal Singh was caught.
Heroin was ordered through drone
DGP Yadav informed that Rachpal Singh, who was caught by CI, has given information about his network during interrogation. Rachpal Singh used to get heroin from Pakistan through drones. At present, the police have registered a case against him and started questioning about his next and previous networks.
