The fair committee did not take the approval – DC
Regarding this painful accident, the Deputy Commissioner of the area Dr. Himanshu Agarwal has revealed that the fair committee had not taken the approval of the stunt from the administration. He said that if such stunts are to be conducted by the fair committees, they should take the approval from the administration and conduct such programs only after making complete arrangements for the rescue with the support of the administration.
He said that strict instructions have been given to the officials of different areas related to district Gurdaspur to keep a special watch on such fairs held in their respective areas and not to allow any such program to be held without the approval of the administration.
