WhatsApp Update: WhatsApp has released a great feature to get rid of calls from unknown numbers. Now calls from unknown numbers on WhatsApp can be automatically silenced. Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg himself announced this on Tuesday. In his announcement, Zuckerberg said that WhatsApp has introduced a new feature in which calls from unknown numbers can be automatically silenced.

What is the new feature of Whatsapp?
This feature has been introduced as a new privacy feature of WhatsApp. According to Mark Zuckerberg, CEO of Meta, with the help of this feature, calls from unknown numbers can be avoided. He said that with the help of the new feature, calls from unknown numbers can be automatically silenced.

However, users will get a notification of this and users can view these calls in the app’s call list if they wish. Let us tell you that recently there were many complaints about WhatsApp spam calls in India. Means now we are going to get rid of these calls.

This is how the new feature will work
To use WhatsApp’s new privacy feature, you have to open your WhatsApp app.
Now from here tap on i button to go to settings and tap on privacy option.
Here you will see the new feature called ‘Call’ at the third number from the bottom.
Now tap on the Call option and enable the ‘Silence Unknown Caller’ option.
After this the feature will be activated. You will get notification only when call from unknown number.
You can view these calls anytime in the Calls tab.
