Tushar Mehta will continue to be the Solicitor General of the government

Tushar Mehta Solicitor General: Central Government has reappointed Tushar Mehta as Solicitor General. At present he was handling this responsibility. His appointment will be effective from 1 July 2023. According to the Appointments Committee, Vikramjit Banerjee and KM Nataraj have been appointed as Additional Solicitor General (Supreme Court).

His appointment will also be effective from 1 July 2023. With this, Balbir Singh, SV Raju, N. Appointment of Venkataraman and Aishwarya Bhatti as Additional Solicitor General (Supreme Court) has also been approved. His appointment has come into effect from today i.e. June 30. All these tenures will continue for three years or until further orders.
