Wet a black or green tea bag and place it on the infected eye for five minutes. Repeat as needed until all symptoms clear.
4. Cool spoon
Cool a spoon in ice-cold water for a few minutes, then place the spoon on the eye to reduce eye swelling and redness.
5. Frozen vegetables
Wrapping a bag of frozen vegetables like corn or peas and holding them over the eyes for a few minutes makes the perfect cold compress.
6. Chamomile wash
Steep 1 teaspoon of loose chamomile tea in 1 cup of boiling water. Keep it for 5 minutes and refrigerate. Once the liquid has cooled, use as an eye wash to relieve itching, burning, and swelling.
