These museums will remain closed for tourists till July 31

Tourist Places in Punjab: Museums Virasat-e-Khalsa at Sri Anandpur Sahib, Dastan-e-Shahadat at Sri Chamkaur Sahib and Golden Temple Plaza at Amritsar under the Department of Tourism and Cultural Affairs of Punjab will remain closed for visitors till July 31 for half-yearly maintenance.

The museums- Virasat-e-Khalsa at Sri Anandpur Sahib, Dastan-e-Shahadat at Sri Chamkaur Sahib and Golden Temple Plaza at Amritsar, under the Department of Tourism and Cultural Affairs of Punjab, will remain closed for visitors till July 31 for half-yearly maintenance.

Giving more information in this regard, the official spokesperson said that the said museums are kept closed for tourists every year in the last week of January and July so that their repair and maintenance works can be done which cannot be done during the continuous movement of tourists in the galleries of the museums.
