The police recovered the stolen child from Civil Hospital Ludhiana

Commissionerate Police has solved the case of child theft from the ward of Mothers and Child Hospital of Civil Hospital Ludhiana within 12 hours. The police have arrested the couple who kidnapped the child in this case. The accused couple had fixed the deal for the child at five lakh rupees and the child was to be sold in a day or two. The accused couple have been identified as Preeti and her husband Sahil.

The police have arrested the accused couple from their house in Bhamian Kalan. It is being told that the woman who stole the child herself works in a private hospital. The accused used their minor daughter to kidnap the child. The accused admitted their daughter to the hospital on the pretext that her health was bad and after that they escaped with the child as soon as they saw an opportunity. Currently, the police have arrested the accused and they are being interrogated.

Police Commissioner Mandeep Singh Sandhu said that the accused admitted the minor daughter to the hospital late at night on the pretext of the daughter’s illness. After this, the accused kept wandering around and misled the staff nurse and entered the ward. Meanwhile, accused Preeti went to Shabnam and started talking there.

The police checked the CCTV cameras installed in the civil hospital and caught the woman along with the child. The police found the number of the bike and approached the accused. The accused was sitting at home with the child. It is being told that the accused Preeti met someone in the hospital, who talked about buying the child. Preeti had to take care of the child for a day or two and then sell the child. The police are now investigating who bought the child and whether any child had been stolen before.
