The Western Disturbance is once again active in North India. Due to this, orange alert of rain has been issued today in 17 districts of Punjab including Pathankot, Gurdaspur, Amritsar, Tarn Taran, Ferozepur, Moga, Kapurthala, Jalandhar, Hoshiarpur, Nawanshahr, Ludhiana, Barnala, Sangrur, Rupnagar, Fatehgarh Sahib and Patiala.

While yellow alert has been issued in the remaining 5 districts Fazilka, Faridkot, Muktsar, Bathinda and Mansa. There is a chance of rain and hail with strong winds. Due to this, the temperature will drop. This Western Disturbance is going to be more active for the next two days.

Rain is expected in Chandigarh today. The temperature can be between 12 to 24 degrees.

Today in Mohali, the sky will be cloudy and there are chances of rain. The temperature is likely to be between 13 to 23 degrees. Amritsar will be cloudy today and there are chances of rain. The temperature is likely to be between 14 to 22 degrees.

Rain is expected in Jalandhar today. The temperature will be between 11 to 23 degrees. Today in Ludhiana, the sky will be cloudy and there are chances of rain. The temperature may be between 12 to 25 degrees.
