Haryana Sikh Gurdwara Management Act by convening a special session of the Parliament on this matter and passing a resolution strongly condemning the forcible encroachment of the facilities of historical Gurdwaras by the Haryana government and its nominated ad hoc Gurdwara Committee during a special session called by the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee. 2014 cancellation has been demanded by the Government of India.

In this regard, a 6-member committee has also been formed for Charajoi, which will contact the members of various parties and both houses of Parliament across India to ask them to raise their voice about the forced disintegration of the Shiromani Committee, the constitutional body of the Sikhs. In the meeting, it was decided to write a letter in this regard to all the parliamentarians of India. Along with this, a resolution was also passed against the injustice and bullying of the minorities by the Bharatiya Janata Party.

This special session was held in the presence of Sri Guru Granth Sahib, in which Jathedar of Sri Akal Takht Sahib Giani Harpreet Singh, Jathedar of Takht Sri Kesgarh Sahib Giani Raghbir Singh, Granthi of Sachkhand Sri Harmandir Sahib Giani Balwinder Singh, Giani Baljit Singh and Shiromani Committee President Advocate Harjinder Singh Dhami along with a large number of members participated.

In the meeting, various speakers expressed their views on the government of Haryana through its nominated ad hoc Gurdwara Committee to cut the locks of the Guru Ghars, to take the police inside the Guru Ghars along with Bavardi and shoes and to push the devotees out of the Guru Ghars. He strongly opposed such anti-Sikh actions of the governments while condemning. The speakers clearly said that all the members are united on this issue and will remain cooperative in the further action taken against the Haryana Committee. In their address, the members said that the Bharatiya Janata Party is directly responsible for government interference in Guru Ghars.

Speaking to the media after the session, Shiromani Committee President Advocate Harjinder Singh Dhami said that two important resolutions have been passed with the consensus of all during today’s session. He said that in a resolution, the Government of India has been appealed to repeal the Haryana Gurdwara Act 2014 and take action in Parliament to return the management of the Gurdwaras there to the Shiromani Committee, as the Sikh Gurdwara Act 1925 is still intact. According to this Act 1925, elected members of Shiromani Committee are working in Haryana and Gurdwara Sahibs are also listed.

According to the Supreme Court’s decision, the Haryana Gurdwara Act 2014 has been recognized, but the government’s nominated ad hoc committee misused the government’s power and forcibly managed the historic and notified Gurdwaras managed by the Shiromani Committee in an illegal manner. received In a democratic country like India, government administration and government machinery have been misused, which has hurt Sikh hearts. This action of the government is a direct violation of the Sikh Gurdwara Act 1925.

According to the Act 1925, the Shiromani Committee functions as an independent organization and therefore is a thorn in the side of the government. That is why governments make attempts to demolish it from time to time. The Haryana committee is also a part of this move. It was a ploy by the Congress to undermine and divide the Sikh power, in which the Bharatiya Janata Party has joined today.

The Haryana Committee Act was enacted without the approval of the Central Government and is totally against the Constitution of India. Only the Government of India has the right to make laws in List 1 of Article 246 Schedule 7 of the Constitution, while the Haryana Government has created the Haryana Gurdwara Act by wrongly using the reference of List 2 of the Schedule 7 of this article. It is totally against the constitution.

Advocate Dhami said that in the second resolution passed by the assembly, the moves of the government to suppress the minority communities have been criticized. According to Advocate Dhami, it has been said in the resolution that the government is using every trick to make India a Hindu nation based on vote politics. In this way, the BJP wants to break the sectarian system of Gurdwara Sahibs and run them according to their own principles. Shiromani Committee President said that through this resolution, the government has been strongly reprimanded to stop interfering in the religious affairs of minorities.

About the 6-member committee formed during the session on the issue of Haryana Gurdwara Committee, Advocate Dhami said that the Senior Vice President of the Shiromani Committee. Baldev Singh Qaimpur, Jr. Vice President Avtar Singh Riya, General Secretary Bhai Gurcharan Singh Grewal, Senior Akali Leader S. Balwinder Singh Bhundar, Prof. Prem Singh Chandumajra and Dr. Daljit Singh Cheema has been added. He said that this committee will start working immediately. He also said that if necessary, an international Sikh conference will also be called by the Shiromani Committee on this subject.
