Terrible road accident in Batala, two youths died, 3 injured

The news of a terrible road accident has come to light in Batala. The car collided with a roadside tree near Kot Mian Sahib on the Batala-Kalanur road. Due to which two youths died painfully. There were 5 youths in the car. The accident happened due to the loss of balance of the car.

The deceased have been identified as Parminder Singh (20 years) son of Bachitar Singh. Parminder Singh’s mother said that he was preparing to go abroad and in view of this he went with his friend Sahilpreet to give his documents.

The other friend who accompanied Parminder Singh has been identified as Sahilpreet Singh (28 years). He used to run a mobile phone shop at Khanowal and when the family came to know about the accident, they reached the spot but by then it was too late and Sahilpreet had died. Both were the only sons of the deceased family.

The remaining 3 youths are said to be seriously injured. He was being treated at the Communist Health Center in Kalanur from where he has been referred to Amritsar. The police have also reached the place of the incident and the matter is being investigated. Action under section 174 has been started after taking possession of the bodies of the deceased.
