The deceased has been identified as Jaswinder Kaur, a resident of Govind Nagar, Nabha. According to the information received, Jaswinder Kaur got married four months ago. Her husband Amandeep Singh was the driver. On June 13, there was an argument between the two and the husband got angry and strangled his wife to death. Not only this, after that he locked the body in the room and went to Delhi himself.
Jaswinder Kaur’s family members tried to contact their daughter and son-in-law, but their phones were switched off. They filed a missing report with the police after which the police started an investigation. The dead body in the house started rotting and smell started coming. When the police arrived to investigate, they smelled the smell of dead bodies. When the police broke the lock and reached inside, they saw that the body was lying near the bed.
The police said that in the preliminary investigation, it seems that the accused Amandeep Singh killed his wife by strangulation. The body has been taken into possession by the police and a case of murder has been registered against the husband. Family members said they could not believe that their daughter had been murdered.
