A Home Guard jawan has died in a road accident near Toyota Car Agency on Dabwali Road in Bathinda city. A home guard jawan on his way to duty was hit by a truck due to which the home guard jawan died on the spot. The deceased jawan was stationed at Court Sameer police post.
On getting information about the accident, Sahara Janseva worker Sandeep Singh Gill reached the spot and after taking action by the police, the home guard jawan was admitted to the emergency ward of the government hospital where the doctors declared the home guard jawan dead.
Sahara Janseva worker Sandeep Gill said that information was received at the control room of Sahara Janseva that a home guard jawan has been seriously injured in an accident on Dabwali Road. As soon as they got the information, they reached the spot and he was admitted to the government hospital in Bathinda in a critical condition.
Sandeep Gill said that the doctors of the government hospital declared him dead. According to Emergency Doctor Sahil Gupta, the Home Guard jawan was brought by the Sahara Janseva worker who had already died. Information has been sent to the concerned police station for further action.
