A young man from Sikri village of Hoshiarpur district died due to drowning in Canada lake. Akashdeep got PR of Canada on study visa after about 5 years. About 10 days ago, he had the happiness of getting Canada’s Permanent Resident Chief. For this reason, he went to Port Perry Lake in Ontario four days ago with friends to celebrate, where he died during the accident.

According to his friends, they tried a lot to save Akashdeep but they could not succeed, his body was found in the lake. The deceased Akashdeep’s age is said to be 27 years. His mother Jitinder Kaur lives with her parents and Akashdeep was her only son. Before this, the news of the death of Sachin Bhatia, a resident of village Kothi in Talwara of Hoshiarpur, came from Canada.

Sachin went to Canada 4 years ago. According to the family, they received a phone call that their son had died due to high fever. 26-year-old Sachin was the only son of father Bishan Das. He went to Canada to study in 2019. After some time, the sister also went to Canada, both the siblings lived with each other.

Father Bishan Das said that Sachin was working there after his studies. Talked to the son at around 9 pm last night, he was returning home after finishing work at that time. The son told that he has a little fever, so I told him to take medicine on the way before reaching home. The son reached home, after that he talked to the daughter and asked her to take care of Sachin. After about 2 hours, the daughter called and told that she has brought Sachin to the hospital.

After a while, the daughter told that the doctors have declared Sachin dead. Whether Sachin died due to fever or due to any other reason, he will be kept in the hospital for 2 days for post-mortem. The family has sought help from the government to bring the son’s dead body to India. Members of Parliament from Hoshiarpur Som Prakash and Vijay Sampla have called the victim’s family and expressed their grief and assured to help the family in every possible way.

Earlier, the news of the death of 22-year-old Manpreet Kaur of Barnala due to a heart attack came to light. She reached Canada 18 days ago. Manpreet Kaur was a resident of Barnala. Manpreet’s father Kewal Singh said that the doctor got a phone call at 3 in the night. He said that his daughter had died due to a heart attack.

The girls living with the daughter said that Manpreet had vomited and was having trouble breathing. According to the father, it was his friends who admitted Manpreet to the hospital. But after some time, the doctors declared Manpreet dead there.
