Now you can reach Chandigarh from Delhi in just two hours. The National Authority of India (NHAI) says that the journey from Delhi Airport to Chandigarh can be completed in just 2 hours. A special route has been prepared for this.

The difference in distance between the two routes will be only 20 km but people will pass through the expressway. This express way will also save time and travel will become very easy.

NHAI said that through signboards from the airport take off point, passengers will be informed to reach their destinations like Jammu, Chandigarh, Amritsar and Katra. Passengers will need to travel on Dwarka Expressway and reach the already constructed KMP Expressway at Bahadurgarh via Urban Extension Road, he said.

40 km will be covered on this expressway then after covering about 10 km KMP Expressway will cover about 80 km on Delhi-Katra Expressway.

After this they will take the Trans-Haryana Expressway from Ambala to Chandigarh. The distance from Delhi to Amritsar will be completed in 4 hours and the journey from Delhi to Katra will now take only 6 hours instead of 14. After the construction of this expressway, road connectivity will be strengthened not only in Haryana but also in other states like Punjab, Rajasthan, Delhi and UP. With this important project, congestion in big cities will be reduced and travel time will be saved.
