Delhi Police's IFSO unit has busted a gang involved in digital fraud. The police have arrested 4 accused including a woman in this case. 8 mobile phones, laptops, cars, check books, ATM cards have been recovered from them.

According to DCP IFSO Hemant Tiwari, the accused first called the 65-year-old woman through a voice call. After this told them that you have sent an online parcel containing some passports, drugs and clothes.
Accused said you can go to jail for drugs and fake passport. The old woman was afraid that she might be arrested. The accused had cheated the woman of about 35 lakh rupees. The old woman suspected the accused that she was being cheated.

After this, the accused gained confidence by making a video call through Skype. The video call shows that you have been called from a CBI office where two to three people were present. The CBI logo was affixed on the back. After seeing this picture, the old woman was convinced that the call was indeed made by the enforcement agency.

On the video call, the accused threatened the woman that she has been digitally arrested, after which the woman became very nervous and started crying. The accused then made another move and said you are fine. You have been trapped using your documents.

After this, the accused told the old woman victim that all your accounts have to be verified, so put the money from all the accounts in one account. After this, the old woman agreed to him and transferred all the money to a separate account. After this, 35 lakh rupees were withdrawn from their account one by one.
