Mumbai. A fire broke out on Thursday on the second floor of LIC Building in Girgaon, capital Mumbai. Many vehicles of DAKMAL department have reached the spot. Firefighters are trying to extinguish the fire. No injuries/casualties have been reported so far.

An official said that no injuries/casualties have been reported so far. He said that on getting the information, the fire department and local police personnel reached the spot and started the operation to douse the fire. The official said that the cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained.
Significantly, this is the second incident of fire in LIC building within a year. Earlier on May 7, 2022, a fire broke out at the LIC office at SV Road, Vileparle. The fire broke out in the Salary Savings Department located on the second floor. It is a matter of honor that there was no injury/casualty in this incident.
