Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Saturday, while distributing the departments in the new cabinet, kept the home department while the finance department was given to the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).
According to a notification, Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary has been given the charge of the Finance Department. Whenever the BJP has shared power with Janata Dal (United) president Nitish Kumar, he has always got the finance department. It has been said that Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Kumar Sinha has been entrusted with the important charge of agriculture and road construction.
