Delhi government has made a big announcement for transgender today. Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said that the transgender community should not be discriminated against. They should also get equal rights.

So today Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has announced free travel in DTC for the transgender community. The transgender community will soon be able to take advantage of the scheme, which will be cleared by the cabinet in a few days.

CM Kejriwal has also shared a video explaining about this scheme. Posting which he wrote – Transgender community is very neglected in our social environment. This should not be the case, they are also human and have equal rights.

The Delhi government has decided that now the travel in Delhi buses will be completely free for the transgender community as well. Soon it will be passed by the cabinet and implemented. I sincerely hope that the people of the Kinnar community will benefit greatly from this decision.

In the video, Arvind Kejriwal has explained about this scheme in detail. He said that a good news should be given. Kinnar society is that society, which has been neglected by the entire society till date, no work has been done for them. Today I am very happy to say that the Delhi government has taken a big decision for the transgender community.

We have decided that free travel in Delhi buses will be provided for the Kinnar community. Just as we provide free travel facility to women, all the people of Kinyar community will be provided free travel facility. This decision will be brought to the cabinet in next few days. Once the Cabinet decision is notified, this facility will be activated as soon as possible and we will try to implement it in the next few weeks.
