A major accident took place on the Delhi-Jaipur highway on Wednesday night. A private sleeper bus suddenly caught fire on the highway. Two passengers were burnt alive in the fire. While 12 passengers were severely burnt. The injured passengers were taken to hospital for treatment. The passengers were admitted to Medanta and Civil Hospitals, from where some were referred to Safdarjung Hospital in Delhi. It is being told that the number of injured passengers may increase.

According to the information, the private sleeper bus was passing through the Delhi-Jaipur highway on Wednesday night. Meanwhile, a moving bus suddenly caught fire. Before the passengers knew anything, the fire engulfed the entire bus. Meanwhile, some passengers walked out of the gate and some passengers broke the windows. Some passengers got trapped inside the bus. People passing by the highway saw the bus on fire and informed the police and fire brigade.

Dead bodies of 2 passengers were found in the bus

As soon as the information was received, the police and fire brigade teams reached the spot. The fire brigade controlled the fire after a lot of trouble and pulled out the passengers trapped in the bus. About 12 passengers were burnt, who were admitted to the hospital with the help of an ambulance by the police team. On checking inside the bus, the bodies of two passengers were found. The police team has taken possession of the bodies and sent them for post-mortem. However, the reasons for setting fire to the bodies of the passengers have not been identified.

The injured were admitted to the hospital

The police team took the injured passengers to Medanta and Civil Hospital, but from here some injured were referred to Safdarjung Hospital. All the injured are undergoing treatment in the hospital. Along with this, the number of passengers burnt in the fire may also increase. The police team is engaged in the investigation of the incident. It is not yet known which company the private bus belonged to.

A video of a fire in a sleeper bus has also come out, in which the bus is seen burning on the highway. Seeing the flames, the people passing by in the vehicles got scared.
