Shiromani Committee President Advocate Dhami said that the Atring Committee has also decided to file a writ petition in the High Court against Sauda Sadh Gurmeet Ram Rahim, who is being punished on charges of murder and rape, taking strict notice of the patronage being given by the government.
He said that inviting Ram Rahim, who is on parole, as a state guest by the Haryana government is a great insult to the judiciary and at the same time giving him parole again and again and waiving the sentence of 90 days is not acceptable in the civilized society.
He said that the court proceedings against Ram Rahim in blasphemy cases are also going on, so the possibility of his coming out cannot be ruled out. The Shiromani Committee President said that the Shiromani Committee will go to the High Court on this serious matter and if necessary, the Supreme Court will also be approached.
