Jarnail Singh died due to lack of oxygen
The second deceased has been identified as Jarnail Singh (53), a resident of Valsuha Faridnagar, Pathankot. He had reached Manimhesh Yatra on Sunday evening with some of his friends. According to the information, late at night in Gaurikund oxygen (Oxygen) Due to lack of , they faced difficulty in breathing. He informed this to his colleagues. Friends took Jarnail Singh to a nearby health center. After some time he died. After this, the rescue team of Mountaineering Institute brought the dead body to Bharmaur. After the post-mortem, the body has been handed over to the heirs.

SDM Bharmour Kulwant Singh said that two pilgrims have died during Manimhesh Yatra. He has appealed to the pilgrims to follow the guidelines issued by the administration during this yatra which will last till September 23. They have appealed that they come on this religious journey only after registering.
Difficulty filling flights
Of course, it is not raining during Manimhesh Yatra but due to bad weather it is getting hampered. Due to this only eight to 10 flights can fly in a day. Normally, in clear weather, there are 18 to 20 flights from Bharmour to Manimhesh.
Devotees should follow these instructions
Pilgrims have been asked to bring a medical certificate with them. Get health checked at Base Camp Khandsar, climb slowly, stop there if you get short of breath.
- Carry umbrella, raincoat, warm clothes, warm shoes, torch and stick.
- Follow the routes prescribed by the administration
- Contact the nearest camp for health related issues.
- Help preserve rare herbs and plants
- Passengers should carry their identity card/Aadhaar card
- Do not travel before 4:00 am and after 5 pm
- Do not consume drugs and alcohol
- Women more than six weeks pregnant should not travel
- In case of bad weather, stay in sheltered places in Dal Lake between Dhancho, Sundarsi, Gaurikund and Hadsar and Dal Lake.
