According to Reuters, the submarine was launched into the Atlantic Ocean on June 18 at 5:30 pm IST. It disappeared after 1:45 hours. The search operation was going on for the last 4 days, which has now been called off. The search included ships and aircraft from the US, Canada, France and Britain.
