The wreckage of the Titan submarine has been found in the Atlantic Ocean. It is 1600 feet below the Titanic shipwreck. The submarine went to show the wreck of the Titanic on the evening of June 18, carrying four tourists including the pilot, but disappeared after 1:45 hours.

All five people in the submarine have died. They include British businessman Hamish Harding, French diver Paul-Henry, Pakistani-British businessman Prince Dawood, his son Sulaiman and Oceangate Company CEO Stockton Rush. US Coast Guard officials confirmed this Thursday evening. However, their bodies have not been recovered yet.

US Coast Guard Rear Admiral John Mager said, ‘The discovery of the submarine wreck in the Atlantic Ocean was made by a remotely operated vehicle. It may have exploded. However, it is too early to say when the explosion took place. There are still many questions about this, the answers of which are yet to be found.

According to Reuters, the submarine was launched into the Atlantic Ocean on June 18 at 5:30 pm IST. It disappeared after 1:45 hours. The search operation was going on for the last 4 days, which has now been called off. The search included ships and aircraft from the US, Canada, France and Britain.

According to CNN, 5 parts of the 22 feet long Titan submarine have been recovered from the wreckage. It consists of 2 parts tail cone and pressure hull. Officials of the US Coast Guard said that no body of a passenger has been found in the wreckage. Oceangate, the submarine maker, said the people who died in the accident were true explorers. We are with his family at this difficult time.

Coast Guard Rear Admiral Mager said a robotic vessel will continue to collect debris in the Atlantic Ocean. Through this, an attempt will be made to collect more information about the accident. However, it is very difficult to find out anything about the people who died so deep in the ocean.
