Dilraj Singh Deepi, a resident of Bidhipur village of Sultanpur Lodhi, and his younger brother Gora got into an argument with someone outside a shopping mall in Portland, America, around 3.45 pm on Wednesday. During the argument, a shot suddenly fired. Deepi and Gora died in it. When the news of the death of both reached the village of Bidhipur, a wave of mourning ran through the house. The parents of the deceased live in the village.
It is being told that the Portland police have taken one person into custody. According to sources, the killer is also a resident of Kanjali village in Kapurthala. However, he has not been identified yet. The killer was a business partner of Deepi and Gora and the two parties were having an argument over money transactions. At present, the police are investigating the matter.
