Jaspreet Kaur was told that a caretaker is needed for a day at PGI. He is to be given a multivitamin injection. For this he will be given 3,000 rupees. Out of which Mandeep also transferred 1000 rupees to him online.

Despite giving medicine to the victim by the treating doctors at PGI, there was no response. It was necessary for the doctor to find out which poisonous injection was given to the woman. First of all, when the police interrogated the said accused, the accused said that Jasmeet Singh Buta Singh and Mandeep Singh found the method of injecting poison after watching YouTube.

Police interrogation revealed that they had prepared an injection by mixing cockroach killing hit, sanitizer and five sleeping pills. Jasmeet Singh gave 50 thousand rupees to his brother-in-law Buta Singh after fixing the deal for 10 lakh rupees. Buta Singh further gave this money to Mandeep Singh. Mandeep Singh gave 1 thousand rupees out of these 50 thousand to caretaker Jaspreet Kaur.
