It has happened for the first time in Punjab that the books have reached the schools even before the next academic session begins. Education Minister Harjot Singh Bains has expressed this by tweeting. He said that this change is due to the promise of Aam Aadmi Party national convener Arvind Kejriwal and Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann. He said that we fulfill what we promise. Harjot Bains said that our government is committed to make the government schools of the state the best. It is to be noted that this time the work of printing the books was completed before the session started.

In fact, for the past many years, students as well as parents used to complain that they get books only after the middle of the session. Due to this, the Punjab Board had already set the target of printing books.
