Punjab News Ahead of the fourth anniversary of the inauguration of the Kartarpur Corridor, Pakistan’s Kartarpur Project Management Unit (PMU) is preparing to gift Indian pilgrims. PMU Pakistan (Pakistan) is planning to allow overnight stay at Gurdwara Kartarpur Sahib in Narowal district or modify their stay period. According to this proposal, pilgrims will be allowed to spend ‘Amrit Vela’ (morning) at Gurdwara Sahib of Guru Nanak Dev Ji and Planning to attend Sandhya (evening) prayers or at least one of these prayer meetings.

According to PMU Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Muhammad Abu Bakr Aftab Qureshi, most pilgrims have expressed their dissatisfaction over the idea. Presently the Gurdwara Sri Kartarpur Sahib (Sri Kartarpur Sahib) Due to the ban, the Indian Sangat coming for darshan cannot join the morning or evening prayers.

Proposal sent to the Government of Pakistan

PMU has formally submitted the proposal to the Government of Pakistan. In which Indian pilgrims have been urged to consider allowing overnight stay or changing the pilgrimage programme. After which Indian pilgrims will be able to participate in morning and evening prayers or at least one of them.

Passengers stay from 8 am to 4 pm

So far, in Gurdaspur district of Punjab, India Dera Baba Nanak (Dera to Baba Nanak) From Kartarpur Corridor to Gurdwara Kartarpur Sahib one day travel time is from 8 AM to 4 PM. Along with this, on November 9, the inauguration of this corridor will complete 4 years.

The consent of the Government of India is also necessary

The Pakistan government will take up this issue with its Indian counterpart to make necessary changes in the agreement between the two countries to open the Kartarpur Corridor. If an agreement is reached between the two governments, Indian pilgrims will be able to stay at Sri Kartarpur Sahib or be a part of a one-time aarti in the near future.

The theme park will be built in three phases

The theme park to be built near Sri Kartarpur Gurdwara Sahib will be developed in three phases. The initial phase will have facilities like restaurants, lakes, tracks and trains. The second phase will start by the middle of next year. It will focus on creating a heritage village. After these two phases are completed, the last phase will begin, but Indian pilgrims will not be able to go there for now.
