Shaktar Singh spoke to his son and said that if he wants to go to America, he can be sent on a work permit. On this, Jaskiran Singh reached the office of travel agent Saktar Singh along with Sarpanch Satnam Singh in village Gosal of his uncle Manmeet Singh, Gurmeet Singh. Where they were assured it would cost Rs 2 lakh. The rest of the money will be taken after reaching America, the direct flight from Delhi will be to America. He took the passport of Jaskirat Singh of this trust. After this, the agent changed Jaskirat’s flight to Europe instead of America. The travel agent from Europe left his son in Mexico, there the mafia took the letter captive and demanded money from the family by threatening them and said that the son had reached America and 24 lakhs should be given to the agent. Shaktar Singh and his wife transferred money to different accounts.
After getting the money, Shaktar Singh got his son to cross the wall from Mexico through Dankra. There he was caught by the Mexican police and after being kept in jail for about 3 months, he was deported to India. The SSP
The DCP has handed over the responsibility of investigating the complaint to PBI Homicide and Forensics. After taking the advice from the DA Legal after the investigation, they have registered a case and started the investigation. A case of fraud under PTPR Act 2014 has been registered against the travel agent husband and wife.
