The administration has started removing the barricading after the farmers went to Delhi till February 29. Delhi Amritsar National Highway 44 has been opened. Thus, now people going from Panchkula, Chandigarh, Ambala to Delhi can go to Delhi from Kurukshetra Karnal and people going from Delhi Karnal to Chandigarh Panchkula can go from Kurukshetra Shahbad, Saha. Earlier, the police have removed the barricading from the road adjacent to the Punjab border in Fatiabad as well. The Haryana-Delhi border at Singhu and Tikri has also been temporarily opened.

Let us tell you that the roads were closed due to farmers' front. On February 13, the Delhi march was announced after which barricades were erected. People were facing a lot of problems due to which these barricades have been removed by the administration.

It may be mentioned that the border of Kurukshetra bordering Punjab and Haryana was closed by the Kurukshetra district administration 2 days before the start of the farmers movement. Along with this, heavy barricading was also done near Shahabad on National Highway 44 by the district administration so that if the farmers come from this side breaking the border of Punjab and Haryana, they should be stopped here in Shahabad. The administration has opened the barricading on the service lane on National Highway 44 today.
