The admission campaign of the education department has started

The Punjab government led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has launched a special admission campaign for the academic session 2024-25 in government schools as per the guidelines of Education Minister Harjot Singh Bains. Therefore, an awareness van for Fazilka district was flagged off by Fazilka MLA Narendra Pal Singh and Deputy Commissioner Dr Senu Duggal today.

Speaking on the occasion, MLA Narinder Pal Singh Sawna said that the Punjab government has taken great efforts to improve the education sector and has established four schools of eminence in the district and arranged international level training for teachers.

Apart from this, free uniforms and books are provided to students and highly qualified and experienced teachers are available in government schools.

On this occasion, the Deputy Commissioner said that in government schools, education is imparted through smart classrooms, LED projects and there is provision of excellent education through sports methods and technological tools. There is no admission fee but scholarships are also given to students in government schools.

On this occasion, Deputy District Education Officer Anju Sethi said that for this a helpline number 18001802130 has been issued by the Education Department. Deputy District Education Officer, Cadre Pankaz Kumar Angi, said that admissions are being made in government schools from nursery to class twelfth.

On this occasion, BPEO Fazilka 2 Pramod Kumar, BPEO Fazilka 1 Sunil Kumar, BNO Gulshan Kumar, BNO Gurdeep Karir, Surinder Kamboj, Rajinder Kumar, Revool Gill, Surinder Kamboj, Paramjit Singh Chairman Marketing Committee Fazilka, Sazan Kharbat, Gurdeep Singh, Harmandar Singh Sarpanch Kiriyawali, Nishant Agarwal etc were also present.
