The 23rd passing out parade was held in Officers Training Academy

Gaya 23rd Passing Out Parade: Officers Training Academy (OTA) located in Gaya, Bihar, 72 new army officers were redeployed to the country. Gentlemen cadets who underwent one year of rigorous training at the Officers Training Academy have now become army officers with a passing out parade on Saturday.

Along with this, 10 gentleman cadets from the friendly countries will also be military officers of their respective countries. These friendly countries include Gentleman Cadets from Bhutan, Sri Lanka and Myanmar.

82 army officers took oath during the 23rd passing out parade at the Officers Training Academy, Gaya. After completing one year of basic military training, various military engineering institutes of the country, military engineering colleges for engineering training and get commission after 3 years of training.

82 army officers dedicated to the country

Along with the passing out parade and swearing in ceremony, OTA dedicated 82 military officers to the nation. On the other hand, 82 gentleman cadets under Technical Entry Scheme No. 37 left for various military technical institutes of the country such as Military Engineering College, Secunderabad, Mau and Pune to pursue engineering degrees.

Including 11 cadets from these countries

On the other hand, 11 cadets from allied countries have also received commission in their country’s army, including five from Bhutan, three from Sri Lanka, two from Myanmar and one from Nepal. Lt Gen Ajay Kumar Singh, AVSM, YSM, SM, VSM, General Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Southern Command presented the Gentleman Cadets to their Congratulations for the excellent practice.

Let it be said that pass out has special importance in the life of a gentleman cadet. This is the occasion when a gentleman cadet is commissioned as an officer in the Indian Army after 1 year of rigorous training. These heroes of the army will play a leading role for the security of the country.
