The news of a terrible road accident has come to light in Ludhiana. A terrible accident has occurred in Ludhiana district due to a collision of a Swift car with a trolley standing on the roadside. The husband and wife in the car were seriously injured in this accident. The people present at the scene immediately took both of them out of the car and rushed them to the hospital, but both died during the treatment. The deceased have been identified as Charanjit Singh Charni (50) and Gian Kaur (47).
According to information, the accident took place near Kishangarh village of Khanna town. The deceased were residents of Aslapur village of Charanjit Singh Charni and Gian Kaur Payal. Both were returning home after attending a wedding function. Both have left behind two children.
Shinda, a resident of Aslapur village, said that Charanjit came out of jail two days ago on bail in a case. According to him, there was a stick in the car which suddenly came under the brake. Due to which the car did not brake at the time of the accident. Due to this, the vehicle lost its balance and it collided with the trolley.
Trolley driver Davinder Singh said that he had come to Dada Motor to get the trolley serviced. His vehicle was about 5 to 7 feet below the road. When he came back, a car had collided with his trolley. With the help of people, he pulled out the injured. Devinder said that the airbags of the car were also opened but still both could not escape. People said that the speed of the car was very high.
