According to the police, Anita Rani, a resident of Karora village, gave birth to a baby girl on Friday. After this the whole family became happy. Anita was at home with the baby. While husband Rajkumar went to work. The accused’s husband works as a painter. He already has two sons. Their age is about 14 years and five years.
According to the husband Rajkumar, when he returned home from his work, he did not see the girl. He asked his wife Anita but she was not giving any answer. Due to which he informed the police.
After this, the police questioned the woman strictly, so she herself went and pulled the girl out of the pit. After which the police immediately took him to the hospital in Sector-16. There, seeing the serious condition, the doctors admitted him to PGI. Referred. However, the girl had died by then.

According to the police investigation, the accused woman was suffering from depression. About 9 years ago in 2014, she has been treated for depression from a private hospital in Sector-17. However, suddenly he left the treatment midway, after which his illness worsened.
The girl’s father Rajkumar said that there was some confusion in Anita’s mind since the birth of the girl. She often said that she did not give birth to this child. Due to some witchcraft it landed in her womb. Kulwant Singh, in-charge of Nawangraon police station, said that the police is investigating in this regard.
