Terrible road accident in Bathinda, 5 people lost their lives

Five persons died during a road accident that took place late in the evening on the National Highway-54 from village Bajakhana towards Bathinda. According to the preliminary information received, the accident took place near Roanta Rajbaha Bridge. Here a Swift Dzire car (PB 03-BB 0731) collided with a tahli tree on its left side. The accident was so terrible that five people in the car died on the spot. One of the deceased persons has been identified as Manpreet Singh son of Baljit Singh, a resident of Kothe Ramsarwale (Kotli-Abulu) District Sri Muktsar Sahib. Among the dead, one more Amandeep Singh son of Kala Singh resident of Baho Yatri (District Bathinda), Gur Nanak Singh son of Gurlal Singh resident of Rai K Kalan (District Bathinda), one of these persons was said to be from village Ghuda and the other from Jhumba in Bathinda district. is going

Another I Twenty car (PB 08- EC 1233) has crashed about a hundred feet ahead of this accident site. SHO Bajakhana along with DSP Jaito Sukhjit Singh reached the spot and took stock of both the accidents. It is being estimated that there is a strong possibility of a combination of both accidents. Immediately after the accident, activists of social service organizations from Jaito reached the scene along with ambulances and joined the relief work.
