The police have solved the mystery of the murder of an elderly woman in Amritsar, Punjab. Last February 25, there was a murder in Sarawan village of Ajnala. According to the accused, the death was due to electrocution, but the police suspected that it was a case of murder. Meanwhile, the suspicion of the police turned into belief when the investigation revealed that the killer of the old woman was her daughter-in-law.
DSP Sanjeev Kumar said that the police received information about the incident on February 25. A middle-aged woman named Amarjit Kaur was murdered. In the preliminary investigation of this matter, it was being told by the police that Amarjit Kaur died due to electric current, but the wounds on the body of the deceased were telling something else. After this, the police started a thorough investigation of the matter.
Narinderjit Kaur, the accused and daughter-in-law of the deceased, said that Amarjit Kaur was alone in the house. Amarjit first grabbed his mother-in-law by her hair and then hit her hard on the head. After that he stabbed her several times with a knife. Despite doing this, when she did not die, he finally electrocuted her with a press wire.

Giving information, the accused Narinderjit Kaur said that she was married 15 years ago but her mother-in-law always used to taunt her. She always talked about his looks. Due to which a lot of hatred was created in his heart. Along with this, Narinderjit Kaur was afraid that her mother-in-law wanted to give a share of two villages to her sister-in-law. After which Narinderjit Kaur was filled with anger. Finally, on February 25, he carried out this incident.
