Internet services remain off in Punjab for the third day. The matter of stopping internet services has reached the Punjab and Haryana High Court. Advocate Jagmohan Singh Bhatti has challenged the action of shutting down internet services by filing a public interest petition regarding this. Under Section 5 of the Indian Telegraph Act and Temporary Suspension of Telecom Services Rules 2017, the government has stopped internet services.

Let us tell you that the internet has been closed for almost 48 hours in Punjab and it is going to be closed for another 24 hours. A petition has been filed in the High Court against the shutdown of the Internet. Apart from mobile internet, dongle and SMS service are also closed for the last 2 days. Just working wifi connection. People have to face a lot of problems.
