Chandigarh News A sudden fire broke out in the workshop of Toyota located in Chandigarh’s Industrial Area Phase One on Sunday night. This workshop is located in Plot No. 177. Within minutes the fire engulfed the entire workshop. Due to the rapid spread of the fire, around 8-10 vehicles that came for repair in the workshop were burnt to ashes.
The incident of fire took place around 7:50 in the evening. As soon as the information was received, fire brigade vehicles reached the spot. However, the fire has not yet been completely brought under control. Fortunately, there was no loss of life in this incident.

The cause of the fire has not yet been revealed
According to the fire department, the cause of the fire has not yet been ascertained. Attempts are also being made to ascertain whether the workshop was closed on Sunday, a holiday or was opened by an employee or whether a generator or electrical equipment was running. The presence of fire extinguishers in the workshop is also being checked. The local police station is also investigating the matter with the help of the fire department.
