Team India for Asia Cup 2023 has finally been announced. The BCCI selectors announced the 18-member squad for the tournament after a meeting in Delhi. Apart from this, Sanju Samson has been kept as backup. Under the captaincy of Rohit Sharma, the team will participate in the Asia Cup.
KL Rahul and Shreyas Iyer got a place in the team. Both players are still recovering from injuries. Tilak Verma has been successful in making a place in the ODI team for the first time. Leg-spinner Yuzvender Chahal has not got a place in the team. Hardik Pandya is the vice-captain as before.
