Shop owner Manoj Bhatia says, “We have been making these laddus for 10 generations. Till date the same taste and the same quality is intact. Because of this, the first choice of every person who comes to Jaisalmer is Ghotwa sweets. Although Ghotwa sweets are made at many shops, but the taste and quality of Bhatia’s shop is no match. It is so soft and tasty to eat that the stomach will be filled before the mind is filled.

Made from gram flour, saffron, cardamom, sugar and desi ghee, gram flour flour for this sweet is mixed well in machines. Cleanliness is also taken full care of. Bhatia told that it takes about 2 hours to make these laddus. To maintain the good taste, the recipe has to be taken care of and careful.

There are three Bhatia shops in Jaisalmer at Hanuman Circle, Fort Gate and Gandhi Colony, from where you can buy or order these laddus. These laddus are available at the rate of Rs.420 per kg. Home delivery is also done through other food sites in Jaisalmer area.
