Chandigarh: The politics of Punjab has heated up on the statement of Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann on the recovery of 55 lakh rupees spent on the pursuit of Uttar Pradesh’s famous gangster Mukhtar Ansari. Calling Bhagwant Mann’s claim false, former Deputy CM and then Jail Minister Sukhjinder Randhawa said that this fee is not Rs 55 lakh but Rs 17.60 lakh which fees have not been paid, why should they be recovered?
Addressing the press conference, Sukhjinder Randhawa challenged CM Bhagwant Mann and said that if a notice is sent to me, I will respond. Along with this, he said that he will file a defamation case against Bhagwant Mann. Along with this, he said that governments do not run on Twitter. Randhawa said that our family has a history, it will not be allowed to become Abdali. He said that there are 16 DGPs in Punjab but no regular DGP has been appointed yet.

He said that today there are 16 DGPs but the government could not appoint a permanent DGP. He said that it is not a stage but a state.
A notice will be issued for false statements. The Chief Minister is not allowed to speak. Randhawa said that a defamation case will be filed against the Chief Minister. He challenged the Chief Minister to send a recovery notice. Randhawa said that as an MLA I get a salary and not a pension.

On the other hand, Punjab Congress president Amarinder Singh Raja Waring described the government of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann as a government with advertisements. Waring said that the Hon’ble government did not pay attention to the basic issues. He said that AAP had made big claims to end drug addiction, but deaths are happening due to drug addiction. He said that even our government could not eradicate drug addiction completely. Waring said that currently the law and order situation in the state has completely deteriorated.
He said that the problems of farmers are still intact. No subsidy given on Moong Dal. Crude teachers are being abused The previous governments have never abused as much as is being done now.
Waring said that the health structure has collapsed. In the coming days, Congress leaders will visit the health institutions and open a poll of the government’s health claims.
He said that no brick was laid in the name of development in the government. He said that those talking about canceling PPA are now talking about buying thermal. He said that buying a thermal plant is not a big achievement.
He said who will pay for the helicopter tours. He said that he opposes BJP but supports the bills brought by BJP. Waring said that the Home Minister of the country has settled the bitterness between the Chief Minister and the Governor.
He said that when Congress raises issues of public interest, false accusations are started against Congress leaders. He said that the Congress will start a campaign in the coming days on basic issues against the government with advertisements. Waring said that the Home Department only pays the bill.
