After drinking lassi from Rani Lassi shop located here, you will turn here again and again. Here curd is made from pure buffalo milk and thick lassi is prepared from it. Sanjeev, the owner of Rani Lassi shop, told News18 Local that he had opened a Lassi shop in Madhepura 18 years ago. He sells up to 400 glasses of lassi daily. Lassi sales increase significantly in summer. He told that people from far and wide come to his place to drink lassi.

Same, Sanjeev’s brother Rahul told that along with studying from the beginning, he has been helping in his brother’s shop. Rahul has passed the CTET exam by doing B.Ed. Rahul told that by buying pure milk of buffalo, those people make curd themselves. After this, a thick lassi is prepared by adding sugar, milk, cashew-raisins, khoya and Rooh Afza to it.

The shop remains open till 9 pm

Rani Lassi shop is open daily from 7 am to 9 pm. Often people get parcels done for their family members along with drinking lassi. For this, arrangements have been made for matcha lassi. Rahul told that the lassi remains cold in the pot, no matter how far you take it. The taste of Lassi comes when it remains cold.

He told that the cost of a glass of lassi is Rs 30. Whereas, the lassi with Kullad comes for Rs.40. Rahul tells that even though it is not very hot here, people come to drink lassi.
